Racine Lutheran High School helps those in need

Members of Racine Lutheran High School’s Student Council spearheaded the annual Homerooms for the Holidays project. This year, 17 families who have a total of 69 children enrolled in nearby Julian Thomas Elementary School received toys, clothing, blankets, coats and other goodies to make Christmas merry. Each family also received a $25 gift card to Save-A-Lot Food Store.

RLHS students raised $1,800, donated 400 gifts and purchased 200 additional presents to give to the families. The efforts of three Thrivent Action Teams aided the project’s volunteers.

Thank you to all who helped!
