RLHS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony – January 12

Racine Lutheran High School will welcome four inductees into its Hall of Fame.

The 2019 class of inductees includes:  Dr. Dorothy Jehn Fowles ’57, Bob Mallwitz, coach (1994-2018), Robert Tertel, faculty (1965-2001), and the late Dr. William L. Walters ’50.

The recognition will take place before the varsity basketball game on Sat., Jan. 12, at the school, 251 Luedtke Avenue. A pre-game reception will be held at 6 p.m. in the school’s Commons. The induction ceremony will take place in the gym at 6:30 p.m., followed by the game at 7:15 p.m.

Fowles is recognized for her life’s accomplishments in the areas of education and interior design, as well as being a faithful servant to her church. Mallwitz’s leadership and accomplishments as a longtime coach are noteworthy. Tertel is recognized as a dedicated Christian leader and teacher, who remains committed to the school’s needs through his volunteer efforts at the Thrift Shop. Walters made significant contributions to higher education programs and institutions, especially in the areas of science. Complete induction biographies are posted on RacineLutheran.org.
