Michalia Swanson Wins Congressional Art Award

Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan has announced that the winner of this year’s First District Congressional Art Competition is Michalia Swanson, a sophomore at Racine Lutheran High School, who submitted a pencil drawing titled: Hero in My Eyes. Her art teacher at Racine Lutheran is Debra DeKeuster.

Racine Lutheran Interim Expands Horizons

Perhaps he aspires to community service and helping urban children, or she finds inspiration in big-city culture and the arts? Racine Lutheran’s Interim Program helps student expand their horizons and find future callings.

Racine Lutheran High School Cheer/Stunt Team Tryouts

Racine Lutheran High School will hold cheerleading tryout clinics for the 2013-2014 Varsity Cheer/Stunt team on April 24 and 25, from 7-9:00 p.m., in the school gym at 251 Luedtke Ave. Final tryouts for the squad will be held Friday, April 26, starting at 7:00 p.m. Tryouts are open to all incoming freshman and current students. Mega Children’s Rummage Sale April 27th

Do you have children? Are you expecting a baby? Are you interested in children’s clothes, sports equipment, and other items at low prices? Come to Racine Lutheran High School on Saturday, April 27, for the largest children's resale event in Racine County. Hours are 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Racine Lutheran is located at 251 Luedtke Avenue, off Spring Street in Racine.

With 75 sellers in one location, there is no need to rummage through all the sales in town; simply come to the Racine Lutheran High School gym! Get ready to buy toys, clothing (newborn to juniors’), strollers, books, videos, car seats, and so much more. Cash, credit, and debit cards will be accepted for payment – no checks, please. Crusaders Cheer Squad Headed to State

Congratulations to the Racine Lutheran High School Varsity Cheer Squad!  They are going to State! The squad competed at the Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches (WACPC) Southern Regional Competition at Wilmot Union High School on Saturday, Feb. 16.  All teams must qualify at the Regional to compete at the WACPC State High School Cheer Championships.  The RLHS team earned an outstanding 2nd place finish in the Division 3 category, allowing them to advance to the State Cheer Championships. The State competition is Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.  The RLHS squad performs at 10:16 a.m.  Spectators are welcome!

Please help us send them off in Crusader style on Friday, Feb. 22, immediately after school.
