The Racine Lutheran High Ladies’ Guild announces its popular Harvest Fair: Saturday, November 6, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The school is located at 251 Luedtke Avenue (off Spring Street) in Racine. The Fair features dozens of booths for shopping, plus great food! The entire community is invited; admission and parking are free, strollers are welcome, and the school is handicap accessible.
Booths in the gym will feature special crafts, bakery items, linens, dolls, antiques, toys, jewelry, books, plus hand knit items, and more. A new booth this year is “All in a Bag,” with purses, backpacks and more. Several retail vendors will offer cosmetics, energy drinks, Christmas items, candles, home décor, and more. This is a great opportunity to start that holiday gift shopping! Don’t miss the fresh fruits and vegetable booth, overflowing with apples and beautiful home- canned jams! The snack bar will offer sandwiches, tempting goodies, and coffee all day long.
Reserve your tickets for the mouth-watering roast pork buffet, with all the trimmings plus dessert, available from 11:00 - 1:30. Lunch tickets are only $9 for adults in advance; $9.50 at the door. Tickets for children 5-12 years are $5, free for children 4 and younger. Call the school at 637-6538, or call the Guild at 634-5926 to reserve your lunch tickets. The Racine Lutheran Ladies’ Guild raises funds for the school’s operation and special projects. Chairperson Darlene Gorkowski says, “Our special project is the school’s kitchen and cafeteria renovation. We invite everyone to the Harvest Fair at Racine Lutheran High for a day your whole family will enjoy.”
