Student Council is hosting a Blood Drive on April 30th, and we need your help!

Attention seniors and parents!!! Herff Jones is our provider for all things graduation. If you or your senior would like to purchase senior (Class of 26) apparel whether it is clothing or jewelry, Herff Jones has you covered. Below is the link to shop and purchase whatever you want. On a side note, DO NOT ORDER CAPS AND GOWNS. YOUR SENIOR WILL BE MEASURED IN SCHOOL AND WE WILL ORDER THE CAP AND GOWN.

We ask that six of those hours are spent volunteering at our Thrift Shop. The Thrift Shop is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and is looking for help during morning shifts (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) and afternoon shifts (1 p.m.- 4 p.m.). Students, parents, grandparents, and friends of RLHS are needed to sort, clean, price and display merchandise and work in the store. One adult and one student, or two adults, are needed for each shift. SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED!

Once your family completes 20 hours, your student will receive a gift certificate for a free lunch at RLHS! Additionally, at the end of the school year, the three families with the most volunteer hours will be awarded a $50 credit to their RLHS school account, which can be applied toward various expenses such as lunch balance, athletic fee, yearbook, parking pass, and more!

Thursday, May 7th will be our spring signing date during activity time. All Seniors who plan on playing sports at the collegiate level and would like to sign that day are eligible to participate in the signing ceremony. Please let Mr. Shaffer know that you are interested in participating.

Transportation – We are not able to get a school bus to transport our students to their athletic events until 5:00pm at the earliest. When spring athletic events start at 4:30pm, that makes transportation very difficult to book. If you would like to help with carpooling some of the student-athletes to their games, please contact Mr. Shaffer. Girls Soccer and Softball are the two biggest sports in spring that use carpooling to get to some away events. But every now and then JV Baseball, Baseball, and Track might need some help. Again, if you are interested and available to help us out, please contact Mr. Shaffer at sshaffer@racinelutheran.org.

WRTP Big Step is offering their 2026 Racine Summer Trades Academy during the week of June 22-26 from 8am-2pm. This weeklong academy will expose students to various career options in the construction skilled trades. It will include visits to trade halls & contractor facilities, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
